Overview
Managed production operations for New Jersey Performing Arts Center's annual Kwanzaa celebration, a 26-year tradition drawing hundreds of families for full-day cultural programming celebrating the seven principles of Kwanzaa through arts, dance, music, and marketplace experiences.
Event Production
Coordinated comprehensive programming including candle-lighting ceremonies, vibunzi youth recognition rituals, live performances by local dance troupes and musicians, interactive workshops (dance, drumming, arts and crafts), and curated artisan marketplace featuring 20+ local vendors.
Marketing & Creative
Designed marketing collateral, promotional graphics, and social media campaigns promoting festival activities. Managed volunteer coordination, vendor logistics, and activity scheduling ensuring seamless attendee experience across multiple venue spaces.
